Cluj is one of the city's powers in the world, which deals with two institutions of the lyrical scene: the National Opera and the Hungarian Opera, two institutions with building, technical equipment and self-contained artistic ensemble. The Hungarian opera set up in 1948 at that time - a state decree had the purpose of a country and served the traditional preservation of the culture of the Hungarian lyrical scene by presenting performances in Hungarian, traditions whose roots can be seen in 1792, given to the first language show Hungarian in Cluj of that time.
