Diakonia is making apart of the Reformed Episcopal from Ardeal. We put at your service accommodation services, food, conference rooms in the same location: 27 roms (that 12 are new, with 2-3 bads that the standard is **, 10 conference rooms with the capacity for 20-300 persons, with staff with experience and flexible.

Our concern is to improve our services. Our potential as number of accommodation, the good food, but with modest prices are your benefits. With 10 years of activity, our villa is becamed one of the most appreciated conference center from Transylvania.

Villa Diakonia is located in the residential neighborhood Andrei Muresanu near the exit for Turda City. The historic center is at 20 minutes by walking.

Bethlen Diakonia is at 10 minutes from Iulius Mall Shopping Center , 15 min from Expo Transilvania and at 30 min from the International Airoport from Cluj Napoca.

Karolina obelisk is the oldest secular monument of Cluj Napoca.

The obelisk is in the center of the Museum Square pedestrian zone. Surrounded by a medieval landscape, old buildings, terraces and imposing trees, the monument was erected after the visit of Emperor Francis I and Empress Augusta Carolina in the summer of 1817.

Babes-Bolyai University

Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj is one of the largest public institutions of higher education in our country. It continues the tradition of the University of Cluj created in 1919. In 1959 Romanian University of Cluj (which was called Babes) joined the Hungarian (Bolyai) and then there is the new name, Babes-Bolyai University. But it has roots in the Jesuit College from 1581. Multicultural format was preserved until today in all parts being found university with teaching in Hungarian, Romanian and German.

The multicultural character stands at the Babes-Bolyai University. There are 17 university in Hungarian languages , 10 in German and two in English. Hungarian is taught exclusively in the Faculty of Protestant Theology and Roman Catholic Theology.

Village Museum in Cluj Napoca

The locals called it "Village Museum", the National Ethnographic Park "Romulus Vuia" is located near one of the largest and richest forests of Cluj, Hoia, continuation that starts with Citadel Hill in downtown Cluj.


Ethnographic Park "Romulus Vuia" in Cluj, is the first open-air ethnographic museum in Romania and the sixth in Europe, is part of the Ethnographic Museum.

The museum can be visited from Tuesday - Sunday (Monday closed) between the hours: 9.00 - 17.00 (last entry 16.00)

History of the Village Museum:

National Ethnographic Park "Romulus Vuia" was founded in 1929 and is named after the first director and founder, Professor Romulus Vuia. Located in the Hoia forrest in Cluj-Napoca, the park is divided into two thematic areas: "Technical installations and workshops" (30 technical installations and 6 case-workshop) and "regional types of households and monuments of folk architecture" (12 households complete peasant from different ethnographic regions of Transylvania).

Matei Corvin House in Cluj Napoca is located on the street with the same name at number 6. Located in old city center, near the Museum Square, at the crossroads: Matei Corvin, Virgil Fulicea, Sextil Puscariu.
 
Matei Corvin Street was transformed into a pedestrian zone, where often are organised exhibitions with objects produced by traditional Romanian and Hungarian small craftsmen.
 

About Matei Corvin House-Cluj Napoca

Matei Corvin House or „Mehffy House”  is a town building in the Gothic style of the fifteenth century (now University of Art and Design” Ion Andreescu “). In this house – inn of the town at that time – was born on the 23 of  February 1443, Matthias Corvinus (Matei Corvin), son of the great ruler of Transylvania, Ioan of Hunedoara. Matei Corvin was the greatest king of Hungary (1458-1490), scholar, patron of the arts, wisdom and law, is mentioned today in songs and legends. In 1467, Matei Corvin exempted the owners of the house where he was born to pay taxes to the city, this privilege is reinforced by the kings and princes that have followed.
